As a Game Development Intern at Fair Play Labs, you will be part of a vibrant team that is passionate about creating exceptional gaming experiences. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in game design, development, and implementation within a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of game features and mechanics according to the assigned project.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, designers, and programmers to develop cohesive projects.
  • Contribute to the debugging and optimization of game code.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and offer fresh perspectives on game innovation.
  • Test new game ideas and features, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Help maintain project documentation, including design guidelines and progress updates.
  • Engage in daily and weekly team meetings, contributing to the project’s progress and adhering to timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
  • Candidates must enroll in a “Práctica Profesional” course, as part of their academic curricula.
  • Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various game genres and platforms.
  • Understanding of programming languages such as C++, Python, or Unity/Unreal Engine.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Prior academic experience with game development tools and software is a plus.
